I wake up between 5:00am and 6:00am every day without an alarm clock. I have egg whites and oatmeal every morning. I drink my coffee black. No coffee. No talkee.

When You Have The Shoulds.
Some days I’m a ridiculous powerhouse of productivity, getting houses under contract, slinging real estate, creating a blog of inspirational posts and rah rah rah you can do it. Other days, I sit on my couch in my pajamas, don’t shower, binge Netflix and key lime pie for lunch and then maybe popcorn for dinner –Continue reading “When You Have The Shoulds.”
Showering Is An Accomplishment
In a recent post I spoke about finding inspiration. Finding it because I’m looking for it. I look for inspiration every day. It’s no secret 2020 has been a a shit show of epic proportions for many reasons. In speaking with people and general observation, it has been even harder to maintain a positive mindsetContinue reading “Showering Is An Accomplishment”
What Are You Looking For?
You ever notice on days you’re in a bad mood, everything goes wrong? You spill your coffee, then you stub your toe, and step in dog poop on a way to a meeting you’re already running late for? “Just great!” That’s your fault. I have found when I am in these moments of negative spiraling,Continue reading “What Are You Looking For?”
Debbie Has Hemorrhoids.
Like most people, I have had moments of comparing myself to others. I’ve worked VERY hard on moving away from that, but every now and then it creeps in and I work on redirecting that energy to more positive outlets. “Comparison is the thief of joy” are some of the truest words I’ve ever heard.Continue reading “Debbie Has Hemorrhoids.”

Part of the Solution or Part of the Problem? You’ve got a fly on your head, I’m speaking and Pro Choice .
I am happy and proud to have friends and family of many political ideologies and beliefs. Several of whom I don’t agree with. I’m also happy to report, I don’t hate any of them (or anyone for that, matter) based upon their opinions and beliefs, regardless if those opinions and beliefs are different than mine.Continue reading “Part of the Solution or Part of the Problem? The Bridge.
My dad is an interesting man. Very unassuming and is more than meets the eye. He’s a unique combination of Mr. Miyagi, Yoda, Mr. Magoo, Tony Robbins, MacGyver, and Ebenezer Scrooge. What day you get him on is anyone’s guess. His master craft is landscaping, sadly not a trait I inherited. My dad isn’t fancyContinue reading “The Bridge.”
Laura.
The name Laura Thompson will forever be associated with happy times of my youth. Laura was my first love, first soulmate, first bestfriend. Outside of family, there was no one I loved more when I was a little girl. We were eachother’s first friends, becoming best friends when we met at Shaker Road School atContinue reading “Laura.”
Battles.
I don’t know one person 2020 has been easy for. This isn’t necessarily a doom and gloom post, but more so a post to let you know if you feel like you’re battling you’re not alone. The recent news of a local gentleman who was a well-known fixture in my town – whom I didContinue reading “Battles.”
